Ralph,
The concert [Dennis Cannantaro Concert Series, Smithtown, August 4th] was wonderful, as always! Thanks so much for singing Jackie Wilson for me. Such a great job! Also, “The Wonder of You”, my wedding song. I usually don’t like other people singing Elvis’s songs, but you did a terrific job----as you and the other singers did with every song.
My husband and I are looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
Joan and John Carro
There may have not been sun last night but you fired up West Long Beach last night. You were amazing and I'm going to help you with your advertising for you. Well see you again in the summer somewhere.
Thanks for a great night with my friends who enjoyed you too.
Lauren
Hi
I saw your concert in Long Beach on Wednesday, July 20th. It was a great performance. I especially like that you have guest participation. I also like the fact that you have the knowledge of various songs from different eras without using sheet music. I have gone to your website and found you will be playing in the future. You can be sure that I will be going to more of your concerts and if I have an affair, I will be hiring you. God bless and good health to all.
Linda Altschuler
We attended your show tonight at the Valley Stream Bandshell and had a blast.
We are in our mid 60's but you made us feel much younger.
Thank you.
ps: Love the way you end your shows.

My wife and I have been following Risky around for the last couple of summers, except for this one, what has happened to the schedule on your web site. It's stuck on July. We really enjoy the music, Please update the schedule.

Hi Eddy,
Tommy & Joanne Goebel from the Classic Cruisers car club. We'll see you and the guys at the festival on Denton Ave. later this month.
How risky is the outdoor music business! (LOL). Wednesday night (July 14th) after singing just 3 songs, the skies opened up on the group called "Risky Business” during the 22nd annual free beach concert at New York Blvd in Long Beach. With the weather, it certainly rang true! The skies threatened around 7:20 PM, cleared by 7:40 PM so by 8 PM, the concert began.
Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg addressed a very courageous group of approximately 250, who sat mostly under the boardwalk. Clear blue skies usually attract 2,500 hearty souls from all over Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens & the Bronx. The group (the #1 most requested Doo-Wop cover band on Long Island) & the city’s musical engineers were all drenched by 8:15 PM. Everyone scattered. The heavy rain continued until 9:30 PM. Equipment, clothing, etc all were drying out by Thursday. Since the group set up and sang in addition to the crew from the City of Long Beach setting up, everyone got paid for an evening's work. Therefore, no rain date was possible. I (as the co-sponsor Sterrer Realty) along with the many calls & e-mails received the next day, were all disappointed. We are already looking forward to next summer.

The first time I saw you perform was at my cousins Tracey and Steven Rietas wedding at Russo's. (The Wedding of the Century) I thought you were better than great. (If that makes any sense?) Ralph your voice is beyond compare and your personality is so genuine. Ed, we had the pleasure of talking to you at the wedding that night and you also have a genuine down to earth personality, with a flair for perfection. I have to say you are all terrific singers and musicians. I truly enjoy your performances and I try to go to your shows when possible. Thanks for always making my day!!!!!!!

We were at the park you played at on July 18 and I think you were great. My husband was the one that had the oxygen on and he was very happy to see all of you. He has not missed one of your concerts and he is now in a nursing home which we hope one day he can get off oxygen and be like he was.
Thank You

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
Looking forward to seeing you all.

Thanks very much for the kind words and glad you enjoyed the show. I did stay and catch quite a bit of your show and just loved the sound - the harmonies were tremendous and backing instrumentation just as impressive - great job all around - good range on tunes as well - to mix in Doobies with Jackie Wilson works very well as you guys can pull it all off.
Hope to catch you guys again and perform at the same event as well.
Be Well

Hi Guys, After having lived on 240th Street in Bellerose for 35 years until 5 years ago, I used to go to Fuzzy's everytime you were there. Now that I live in Franklin Square I follow you around to all the parks and festivals. I have introduced some of my friends to your music and they love you too. Out of all the groups that sing in the parks this summer you guys are the best. I check your website all the time. I am so glad that you are now at Antonetette's Restaurant. I will be coming on Friday nights to eat with my friends and enjoy your wonderful music. I remain a friend always. Thank you.
Sandy Peterson of Franklin Square
I recently went to dinner at Madisons Steakhouse with several other couples and expected to be entertained by a "Fifties group". I was pleasantly surprised to see two of the singers (Eddie & Ralph), whom I had worked with 20 - 25 years ago. The band was fabulous, every musician and singer participated. Their repertoire was faultless, and they honored all requests from the audience. If you want a great night out, check their calendar and set aside a date to go to see them. You will not be disappointed.

Hi everyone,
Just want to say you all did a great job at the College Point show
July 15th. And College Point is a pretty obscure place (LOL). I
told my mother who is 70 and my grandmother who is 92, me I am 44, my
uncle and aunt are early 60's I said this band played at Dublin Pub
20 years ago WOW!! We all had a ball all the generations singing
together, knowing all the songs. You left us all Happy!!!
PS: And you are all GREAT AMERICANS..... LOVED THE END OF THE
SHOW...KEEP MAKING MUSIC..
Hope to see you soon

Here are some comments I heard after the Smithtown concert last night. That group was excellent! Great voices, good harmony & a fabulous band & they even take requests _ and my favorite, "loved the variety, from Sinatra to Elvis to the Beatles _ "where are they next?"
Congrats guys you did it once again. Smithtown loves Risky Business!

Hello _ Risky Business _
An old high school friend of mine came to town last night, been meaning to get out of my rut & so I took her to hear you at the Rockville Center club _ Reflections _ . Sharing your music and our memories was a double jolt of a great thing. She has a bad knee and I a sore back, so we were not able to dance more than one or two numbers. The spirits were willing but the bodies wouldn _ t follow. So we sat on those fluffy leather couches and bounced to the beat.
Your choices of songs, the harmony, and energy was great & we found ourselves dancing on the inside! To quote an old high school expression & _ loved you guys something fierce! _
Your performance and energy was terrific! It distracted me from my physical problems. I think music heals what ails us & emotionally and physically & The vibrations and memories & Loved your accapella moments & and my favorite & .dedicated to Brooklyn & _ Looking for an Echo _
Thank you for a special night. This year _ s holiday spirit was evading me & you brought it home. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Love you all & a fan
Tilda Virgilio Clark
My husband and I enjoy your concerts very much. Please put us on your e-mail list so that we can keep up with where you will be appearing, and other news about your group.
By the way, your show in Island Park tonight was wonderful. We enjoyed so much the way you interacted with the audience. Not many groups do that anymore. It's a very nice touch to your shows.

Saw you at the Greenpoint feast and enjoyed the show.
Good tunes and good musicianship
I also enjoyed watching one of your members devour two Italian sausage heroes...awesome!
Keep up the good work.
Daniel,
Hi Ralph.
We had the sincere pleasure of enjoying you & your wonderful band last Friday evening, May 19th, at the Knights of Columbus dinner dance in Sheepshead Bay, NY. The performance by you & your band members was truly enjoyable & nostalgic. You sang those great songs of the 50 _ s, with that incomparable Doo Wop flair, and it was absolutely fantastic. That night _ s performance should have been recorded!!!
You may remember us; my wife & I are from the Boston, Mass area & were visiting our family & friends last week-end. Because of your especially entertaining music and sounds that Friday night, we re-lived our youth from the real _ Happy Days _ .. We introduced ourselves & complimented you and your group, and you kindly gave us a copy of your cassette recording as a gift.
We played it a couple of times while driving home Sunday.
Thanks again for a great pleasure-filled evening.

Subject: Retas wedding at Russo's on the Bay
Dear Ralph and the Group,
I would like to say "Thank You" for the great job the group did at the Retas wedding at Russo's. The group was the hit of the evening and overall the wedding was a phenomenal success. Your ability to perform all the songs that were requested was a testament to your devotion to your craft. I really appreciated that you did Cara Mia, which is song that most groups won't even try but your cover was up there equal to Jay himself. It was also appreciated that you and the group hung around and relived a lot of memories from the 60's and 70's with some of us. As a dedicated oldies fan it is great that there are groups like Risky Business keeping the memories alive. You have broadened your fan base with most of the people that were there.

Risky Business goes acapella - and what a delight it was. Not to take anything away from the talent of the group (musicians and vocalists) as a whole - you guys were awesome Saturday night at Molloy and well-worth coming out to see on such a treacherous night. I enjoyed your performance very much and it looked like you were all having a good time too. I look forward to seeing RISKY BUSINESS in any venue. Thanks for making it worth the trip as always.

From the moment we announced our intentions to get married, our family and friends began anticipating what they believed would be the wedding of the century. Today with memories of that night still in their minds everyone is talking about the best wedding they ever attended. We take great pride and joy in knowing that we did not disappoint, our wedding turned out to be all that we expected and more.A major reason for our great success was the music of Risky Business. From the A-Capella to the rock & roll, they satisfied everyone's musical tastes. You guys did a great job and everyone loved you.It meant the world to Nora having Risky Business play at our wedding and we both thank you very much for travelling all the way up to New England to share our special day. We look forward to seeing you again soon.Mr & Mrs Joey AntinucciPS.....Ed's entertainment with the dinner rolls was second to none.

You guys are THE BEST!!! - I just wanted to thank you again for helping me give my niece Samantha a wonderful memory to take back to Florida. I don _ t get to see her too often so it was important for me to make her visit a memorable one. Apparently I succeeded _ she had to call my sister from the festival to tell her and she hasn _ t stopped talking about how special you made her feel. As I told you _ Buttercup _ is our song and to have it sung to her personally was more than I even planned on. She is also hoping to come this Saturday. We _ ll see. And it wasn _ t just the band. Samantha was so touched by the warmth and friendliness of your families and friends of Risky Business, that she keeps telling her mother how nice and friendly the people in New York are. THANK YOU AGAIN, AS I SAID YOU _ RE THE BEST.P.S. My sister was able to hear part of _ A Girl Like You _ , via cell phone and she said you guys are great too!

We enjoyed your concert last night at Lyons Park, Port Chester, NY. The music was terific and brought back menories. We were married in the Fifties and your songs brought back great memories for me and my husband. Mostly I enjoyed the kiss on the cheek from Ralph. We enjoyed your music at Lyons Park in Port Chester tonight. I couldn't wait to get home to let you know My husband & I think you all are such great entertainers & fabulous musicians. We're sure you hear that all the time. Wonderful the way you get audience participation. Really enjoyed "Delilah" - I am a Tom Jones follower from way back. We used to go to all the Rock & Roll shows in the city - loved the 50's our era! Just wished you used the keys I threw to you ha ha - Couldn't resist. No one threw panties or bras - so the keys were the best I could do. We really enjoyed your music. Thanks for the nice night & Thank God it didn't rain!

RISKY BUSINESS.........what can I say. You guys, once again, came through and made it happen! The show you did for the JOEY'S FRIENDS TOO fundraiser was one of the best performances I have ever seen, and I see so much of you , I even see you in my sleep LOL. Over 500 people showed up for the event, and I know the majority of them will be back to see you again. I can't thank you enough, nor can enough credit be given to the group, for helping to make this fundraiser a success year after year. Sunday's fundraiser was a HUGE success. When all was said and done, Joe and Virginia walked away with $8415 for The Little Village School. The money you helped to raise will fund medical equipment desperately needed by disabled children. It feels good to help the kids, and you guys should feel GREAT! It is a pleasure working with you. My sincerest thank you for making it happen. Job well done.Tommy Byrne(PS Tell Tommy Coyne, I bought the stickem)

Saw Your band at "Fuzzy's" Valentines Day weekend,we had a blast. Your group's sound was so tight. You truly sounded like all the original artists. I was so impressed, that I would love to offer to all the guys in the group a "New Makeover" after listening to you all night, your band has a mixed look in between Jimmy Buffet and Dion and the Belmonts. When I saw the shoes, it hit me,"Gansters of Love" your photo on the home page of Black and Whites look great. Nice image! If you're interested e-mail me. As you can tell make-overs are my business. We will tell as many friends to see your shows. They deserve to seen in packed houses. You guys are the best that we have heard in a long time. First time I was at a show at Fuzzy's, and it won't be the last for either. We really enjoyed the coziness at the club. It's a warm friendly atmosphere and we felt at home their. To all the guys,Our sincere thanks for making our 39th wedding anniversay celebration at the Driftwood last night an extraordinary success. Your kind sentiments and warm comments made this occassion one we will long remember. We appreciate your making a special dedication to mark the occassion. We must tell you how impressed we were by the energy that prevailed throughout the night even after having performing earlier in the day. It was a remarkable tribute to your talent and dedication. May God bless each and every one of you for the joy and happiness you spread where ever you perform.

It's not JUST MY IMAGINATION; you are a very talented group of guys. In fact, I BELIEVE, I could watch you perform EIGHT DAYS A WEEK. From the vocalists great leads and melodic harmonies, to the tight and sharp sounds of the musicians, to the contagious energy and enthusiasm of all of you. I really enjoy the way you DO THE THINGS YOU DO. Last Saturday I saw you @ CLUB NCI with the Capris, and you so kindly agreed to play my request of GLORIA. I must say, Bobby sang it so beautifully, I almost wish that was my name, and I AIN'T TO PROUD TO BEG him to sing it again tomorrow night, when you perform @ the Driftwood Inn. I will be there with my friends Gloria and Dick Ramski, who will be celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary. Although Gloria obviously loves the song GLORIA, could you also play something appropriate for the occasion, if it's not too much trouble? Possibly HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY? I'd really appreciate your help in making this night special for them. Well gotta go GET READY to TWIST AND SHOUT tomorrow night. Can't wait to LISTEN TO THE MUSIC and DANCE TO THE MUSIC.Thanks again!Carol(Previously & still known as the YOU'D BETTER RUN "Rascals" fan)

I saw you perform for the first time @ the Driftwood in July and I was so impressed that I went to see you @ Hoyt Farms, Club NCI (with the Earls) and last weekend @ the Feast of St. Edwards Church. Thank you for bringing the music of the past back to life with such energy and passion. It's evident that you are all enjoying yourselves and it really makes a difference to your audience. Living on eastern LI, there aren't many bands I would travel to far to see, but you are one of the rare few. Being a big fan of 50's & 60's music, I have several favorite groups. One of them are the Rascals, and I want to Thank you for doing YOU BETTER RUN last week. You did a great job of it and I really enjoyed your performance. If the opportunity should arise to add new songs to your already amazing collection, please consider other Rascals songs such as LONELY TOO LONG, PEOPLE GOTTA BE FREE and of course GROOVIN'. I hope to see you tonight at the Soco Lounge, if I may make a request or two, maybe three, please do anything by JOHNNY MAESTRO, He's a favorite too! Also I "This Magic Moment", "Pledging My Love", "Wonderful Tonight" Actually anything on your list would be great!. Thanks again.

Ralph, I saw Eddie and got the heads-up about the web site. Looks great. Now we can find you. Was great seeing you guys a Trudy's last week. By the way, on the song list, I think the Animals did Gotta Get Out of This Place. The other one I don't recognize. You also left out the best one- God Bless the USA! Keep the oldies coming!

Hey All!Lou and I got your website address from a "friend" of our show, so we thought we'd drop by to say "hello!" We don't believe that we have musically crossed paths, but we've heard of your group (and nothing but excellent reviews, by the way!) It's a small world, so maybe one day we will! Keep up the fine website, and continued success from some brother musicians!Sincerely,Wayne & Lou

Ralph, You and the rest of the band are the best around. We have used a lot of bands for our various charity functions but Risky Business has always been the best to work with - you guys make our functions parties and everyone goes away wanting more whether it is a black tie affair or informal. We are looking forward to working with you in October once again. - P.S. - Ralph, Colleen says don't forget "Build Me Up ButterCup" for this one! Best Wishes.

Well since there isn't too much room...I'll make this breif. You guys are the best. There isn't another group of performers anywhere that "give" to their audience the way all of you do, not to mention how you have become "Friends" to all who come to see you. You make the audience feel like they are a part of the band. Everyone leaves your shows happy and dancing!!!!! RISKY BUSINESS........YOU ARE THE BEST!
